Welcome to the Planetspring.com Ask A Spring Question Blog. In this blog you will be able to communicate with other members of Planetspring.com.

As you can see below our Ask A Spring Question Blog is two fold. You can either communicate with other buyers or ask a spring question to suppliers. In the talk with other buyers section, you have seven options to choose from for your blog forum. The seven are general conversation, suppliers, the spring calculator, RFQ process, personal achievements, get advice from other buyers, and Planetspring.com. In the general conversation section you may ask another buyer where to find extension spring formulas or just simply talk about your day. In the suppliers section you may ask other buyers if they have ever done business with ABC Spring Company, and how that supplier’s performance was. The spring calculator section is one of our most popular sections. If you want to ask a buyer how to calculate spring constant or spring rate, how to measure a compression spring, or how to create a coil spring design you would post those questions in the spring calculator section. In the RFQ process section you can ask other buyers for help on creating an RFQ if you are having trouble with it or share your knowledge about the RFQ process with those buyers who may be new to the site. The personal achievements section is for you to let other buyers know things about yourself and your company. In the get advice from other buyers section you have a vast array of things to talk about. Anything you need help with regarding springs you can ask here. The last section is Planetspring.com. This is where you will ask things like “in Planetspring.com where can I find and explanation of torsion springs” or how do I make changes to my profile. All of these forums are designed to make your experience with Planetspring.com as easy as possible.

The second section of the Ask a Spring Question blog is the “ask a spring question section”. Blogs posted in this section will be sent over to the supplier’s blog to be answered by spring manufacturers. In this section you can ask a supplier a question about all types of springs. Some of these types of springs are air springs, wire forms, gas springs, a die spring, a clock spring, leaf springs, spring pins, extension springs, coil springs, cantilever, compression springs, car coil springs, a garter spring, torsion bars, a spring washer, torsion springs, spring steel clips, conical springs, garage door torsion springs and a garage door extension spring to name a few. All types of metal springs will have a supplier who specialized in them to answer your question. Suppliers will be happy to assist you with any spring design question you may have, such as what type of spring wire to use. You can even ask suppliers things like “how to install coil springs” or if they have compression spring stock. You can have a long discussion about air suspension and how that will improve the performance of your car. This blog was created to help buyers and suppliers communicate with each other to build lasting relationships. As a buyer on Planetspring.com you can always find someone to help you with any problem you are having designing or purchasing your springs. Please begin posting now and enjoy the Ask a Spring Question Blog.
